Показать описание
In this video, we're exploring the latest plus size cottagecore sewing patterns from Twig and Tale. Specifically, I will be reviewing the Vista Top pattern and the additional sleeve add -on and sharing my thoughts on the design, fit, and overall sewing experience. I will be making two versions; one as the pattern comes with the bracelet length bell sleeve, and a second one with the flounce sleeve from the add-on pack, making small changes to get my perfect fit. I will be also showing off in detail my prefered method of sewing a facing. This is a very easy, beginner friendly pattern that has a lot of possibility, so grab your fabric, thread, and sewing machine, and let's get started on this exciting new project!

I like both versions of this top that you made. Nice job with you facing too.

Liked the way you attached the interfacing before ironing. A really clean finish. Watching these videos makes me want to get back into making my own clothes again.

Tis interesting what you find out watching sewists. I am from New Zealand and have never heard of this pattern company. I find that sad. Will now look at the options, so thank you. An informative video all round.

I liked your neckline facing trick. Thanks

Loved this style of video and these two tops look absolutely gorgeous on you. I could see that tabbed sleeve option looking really cute in a light blue and white striped cotton shirting type material.

Beautiful results and I so enjoyed learning the two techniques (facing finish and the curved hem solution). Please do more tutorials. Subscribed!

This was a very nice review and tutorial. Is that a Pfaff you are sewing on? I have the 7510. It has been a real work horse for me

I have used the interfacing trick myself. Anything that makes it look neat is ok by me.

I love the interfacing trick! I just made a dress with a v-neck and a facing and I wish I'd seen this before. In other news, I had to pause this video several times because I thought the background music was an ice cream truck 🤣

Love the style of this top, and will put it on my eventually list. Particularly liked the second one, because I'm all about a comfy, loose sleeve. I haven't even made a garment yet, so this is feels a little bit away for me, but very glad to have it on my radar. Watching you do the facing was actually fascinating to me, as someone who's still learning basics. I appreciate the way you showed a lot of what you were doing. I feel like this could be a resource for me to return to later.
