Front Split - Hip Flexor Stretches

Front Splits are very technical and a unique combination of hip flexor, hamstring and lower back flexibility.
The goal is to get the hips to the floor whilst keeping them squared with the shoulders. The more mobile your hip flexors are the less you will have to arch your lower back as you will be able to flip your hips out of the anterior pelvic tilt into a more neutral position.
Whilst the front split is not high on most athletes goals list I strongly recommend working towards it with the appropriate progressions as everyone can greatly benefit from it.
