Cell cycle - cell race

Показать описание
Thanks for watching!
Mitosis is the stage of the cell in which the cell's nucleus and nuclear membrane divide.
It starts off with Prophase, the stage of mitosis in which the cell's chromatin tightens into chromosomes.
The second step is Metaphase. This is the phase in which sister Chromatids are aligned in the middle of the cell by spindle fibers.
The third step is Anaphase, and during this phase, the chromatids are pulled apart.
The final step of mitosis is Telophase. In Telophase, chromosomes arrive at the poles of the cells and begin to relax.
After Telophase comes the final step in the cell cycle, before it repeats, Cytokinesis. What happens during this final step is the cytoplasm divides in two, creating two daughter cells who are 100% identical.
