Today I am sharing all of the resources that helped me score above a 700 on my GMAT and ultimately get accepted into Columbia Business School. My journey through the GMAT was absolutely not linear and definitely took some time. So, the focus of today’s video is to walk you through the different resources that helped me most at different stages in my preparation. My goal is to provide you with some honest feedback of the GMAT preparation materials I purchased (Manhattan Prep, Magoosh, Target Test Prep, and more) and provide my recommendation on whether each was a worthy investment. As the saying goes, Hindsight is 20/20 and I’d like to share my reflections in hopes of helping you navigate your own journey to business school. Getting into business school takes a village and this is my way of contributing back to the community that helped me get to where I am today.

Great source for someone torn between multiple test preps. I was considering Magoosh since this is my first attempt at GMAT, but I'm eyeing on TTP/GMAT club now. Thank you for this!

This was truly a very authentic and helpful video! I would love for you to do more GMAT-related videos, maybe also the reasons why you re-took the test 4 times and what you have learned from each try.

Hey Jay!
Thanks for taking it up!
The only question is how did you manage the stress/anxiety that too during each attempt? It'll be a great insight for us facing the same anxiety levels

I love this video so much, you are so relatable, transparent, and articulate.

Do you mind sharing the progression of scores from the first to the last one that got you in to Columbia (Congratulations!!!) ? I'm curious how much you can possibly grow and change from effort and practice. How did you stay focused and maintain a routine? I struggle with that and get anxious too.
I heard you want to measure the time it takes to study for the GMAT in terms of hours or consistent days, how long did it take you? I'm hoping to budget 3 months. 8-10 hours a week.

Hey, very well explained..
I already knew few of it like gmat club, magoosh, and Manhattan prep.
I need to ask to that can i prepare GMAT and score 730+ using free stuff and without paying or i have to pay for classes and material as well?
Yes i can purchase books for practise but paying this much fee for classes is tough for me right now.
Kindly suggest me the solution.
Thank-you

Hello Michelle, I think the red books are from 2014. Now there is "All the GMAT". Is it basically the same? Or have you some experiences with these as well? Not quite sure which ones to buy...
