Hallucination or Delusion? Knowing the difference when caring for someone with dementia

In my conversations with families of people living with dementia, I notice that many people do not know the difference between a hallucination and a delusion. Even fewer people know how to react when their loved one experiences one or both of these. In this video, we'll talk about the difference between hallucinations and delusions, which one might be a sign of health issues altogether separate from dementia, and how to respond when your loved one experiences a hallucination or delusion.
