I read this book earlier this year in cold January. The setting and the mood was perfect, and I was excited since I didn't know much about it. By the very end, I was close to shedding a tear. A very underrated King novel.

I read this book a long time ago and I loved it! I'm glad you appreciated it as much as I did.

I'm almost as obsessed with this channel as I am with King himself LOL. I almost always agree wholeheartedly with your opinions. I LOVED Blaze. Yeah, it was very Of Mice and Men, and that could have killed it for me, but, I thought the way King added the dead George really flipped the script on it. This is my 2nd favorite Bachman book.

Blaze is honestly very underrated and underappreciated. It's really good. It's up there as one of the best Bachman books along with The Long Walk. Blaze is also way better than Holly.

My friend gave me this book before he passed away. Couldn’t reread it for years afterward. When I finally did, it hit different. I love the book. I’ve read it as a teen, in my twenties and now in my thirties.

I've read this more than once for some reason I really relate to it

With this book published much later, I guess it's safe to assume this is a 1970's period novel (unless certain cultural references were updated).

I'm pretty sure Holly Gibney is driving all the tractors that interrupt your filming.

Just out of curiosity, if you don’t mind me asking. Who’s an actor that was in a bad Stephen King adaptation that you would like to see in a better King adaptation. I already told you mine was Franny’s actress from 2020s The Stand, I’m just curious if you have any actors in mind?

I read this when it was new and I thought it, like all the other Bachman Books, were awesomely gripping and cripplingly underrated.
