**FIXED IT** First do not fill out email fields or attempt the captcha. Just submit blank, and you will get the required fields validation. After this fill out the form and pass the captcha. You will get verification email. Go press the verify button in your email and that should proceed you to account creation.

There must be some sort of bug with failed captcha attempts that's not clearing, but this gets around it.
