The Stream Deck pedal may be a big plastic joke to you, but these sorts of peripherals can be game changers for people with disabilities.

I use mine daily, one pedal for dropping twitch markers to go back and clip later, one for muting in discord, one for deafening. Keep your hands on your controls while being able to talk to chat without talking to the people you are co-streaming with. My regular sized stream deck is already full of other scene changes, media elements, etc., so having those basic controls separate and easily accessible no matter what I'm doing with my hands is pretty clutch, imo.


That being said, I thought it was pretty silly when it was first announced too lol. There are other much cheaper options out there, 'elgato tax' do be a thing 😂😂

You should review the Deckboard and Macrodeck apps for people who can't afford an elgato stream deck. They're cheap alternatives and work pretty well!
