I purchased the Poppy Quilt kit. I received it yesterday. As a veteran of the U.S. Army, I appreciate the connection to our fallen heroes.
This is the epic poem written by John McCrae:
 
 In Flanders Fields
    In Flanders Fields, the poppies blow
         Between the crosses, row on row,
       That mark our place; and in the sky
       The larks, still bravely singing, fly
    Scarce heard amid the guns below.
    We are the dead. Short days ago

I just found/ noticed your company on Facebook. I did place an order, I bought the God and Country throw kit, I am going to make it for my brother who is a Desert Storm Vet and loves the Lord. And I am also a retired RN. I did download In the Garden pattern ( my favorite hymn).

Thank you so much for your generosity. I, too, was so touched by heart because I also feel that way❤. Thank you, also, for your free quilt pattern. I sewed a scrappy quilt for my sister and hand quilted it. You would think I made it for him (my brother-in-law)- he loves it so. My brother-in-law is a fixer upper in his spare time and has a heart for the elderly. He charges way less than what his parts cost him so I would like to sew the In My Garden quilt in blues and white with bright green for the center block (he loves Sprint). Do you think it would come out ok in those colors? Thank you again and Happy New Year with many blessings!!
