Victoria always has the best facial expressions.

Despite everything wrong it's actually quite impressive they don't fight over each other's bowls, I thought for sure they would need to be crate fed.

God I wish Victoria was my aunt or something 😂She's awesome. So calm and fair, and her love of dogs is inspiring.

Sylvester needs a MUCH more experienced owner. And and probably to be in a two dog household so he can have the attention that level of anxiety needs.

What are her vet bills with 8 dogs? Food costs alone would bankrupt me.

Animals begging for my food is literally a pet peeve of mine. I could never imagine so many dogs running around my legs and jumping up the table while I'm trying to cook/eat

The problem is never the dogs, its always the people.

I can’t blame Jeff, if my partner ignores my boundaries and brought so many dogs home I would be extremely upset. He’s trying his best for 4 extra responsibilities he didn’t seem to want

not wanting dogs on the the bed but keeping their shoes on in bed is wild...

Yes, eight dogs is too much for that size of property. Forcing your partner to take care of endless dogs you bring home is redicoulas!

In my country you are only allowed to have 4 adult dogs unless you have special permission

And watching this I completely understand this rule

As someone who relates DEEPLY with Melissa, I feel HORRIBLE for Jeff! A pack of dogs has been part of my long-time dream for as long as I can remember, but I know how much effort has gone in to training my ONE rescue dog so that is a good while off yet!! While it takes a lot of self restraint because I quite literally want all the dogs, I could never put my partner through that - he has the patience of a saint, but I don’t know how Jeff hasn’t cracked up yet 😔

Victoria was spot on. With the dogs we’ve had, and even my son’s dog we took care of for 6 weeks, we taught them “wait” while waving my hand across the threshold from the living room into the kitchen. They had to stay out of the kitchen during meals. It really helped during eating holiday meals in the kitchen.

That walk training at the end is 100% how I taught my late bb how to walk on a leash. He still pulled a little every now and again when he got real excited, but mostly he spent 11 years walking nicely with me. He walked so well with me I could close my eyes and he'd keep us both going straight (because he'd be walking at my hip so evenly).

I have a new pup now, we just took our first walk (he's a 2 year old chihuahua lol) and once he's confident with going out for walks, I'm sure I'll need to do that walk-turnaround-walk-repeat method with him too - he's got lots of energy. :D

Its not perfect but how wonderful to see Sylvester go from veing terrified of a walk to bolting out the door 😅🥰😅

"What's one more" always leads to disaster.
Im a dog rescue person... You need to know your limits.

"Jeff, if you do more work, I promise I won't get another dog"
Does that mean that if Jeff does not get more involved, Melissa WILL get another dog? How does that work?
It doesn't make sense!

i'm actually surprised that they managed to take in so many dogs without territorial problems, i have 2 dogs with completely different personalities at home and we had problems at the beginning o_o

Rescuing dogs is absolutely great let get that straight. However, having eight dogs is insane. Malissa is selfish, her boyfriend never sign up for that. She never consider his feelings. Kudos to him for still staying
