Keratin Treatment vs Relaxer 🤔

So 11 years ago yesterday I because certified in keratin treatments and I’ve loved them responsibly ever since. This super adorbs cutie is my pseudo niece 💕! She is at an age where she is starting to care for her appearance and maintaining her own hair. Her mother wanted to put a relaxer in her hair but because she’s so young I urged her to consider the keratin treatment. It’ll give her the manageability she wants without the long term commitment.

A keratin treatment is a temporary smoothing treatment that will last 3-6 months. After it is completely washed out your hair will go back to it’s natural state or whatever it was prior to getting the keratin. It does not chemically alter the bonds of the hair which is why you’ve heard some people say that it’s not a chemical. That’s not entirely true (as far as the chemical part) the formulation that’s in the bottle has some chemical components to it I’m sure, however the keratin is to large to penetrate the cuticle and into the cortex of the hair structure to alter any bonds that are responsible for maintaining any curls in the hair strand. So as a result it washed off and your hair is back to normal! **maintenance needs to followed for preferable outcome***

For her hair I used @lasioprofessional Moca Silk treatment because it does have a Cocoa and oil infused formulation for dry hair. It removes 100% frizz, 90% of the curl and lasts up to 4 months. I infused the keratin to her hair with the flat iron doing 10 passes at her roots and 8 passes on her ends. I hope you’re enjoying your hair my Kisses!!!!! 💕😘

Which brand are you using? I use to do lots of Keratin on my clients but I started getting bad headaches.

Keratin treatment is better alternative to relaxers. Its healthier and your hair has more body

Or does it damaged your hair more
I still have some curls und I would love to have them straightened and since I heard that keratin treatments helps damaged hair und straightens it I was wondering

Hi! I did a keratin treatment and i want to relax my hair. I did in october and i want to know how much i have to wait to do again. i also use a neutralizing shampoo to make sure that i got rid of the keratin on my hair and a shampoo full of sodiuom. i don't knwo what to do anymore. Hello! My daughter 12 and natural, however she has a couple areas with heat damage. Would a keratin straighten treatment increase the possibility of more heat damage?
