Allow me to answer your question with a question: why do people like 80s? I mean come on. 80s music, everything about it is brilliant. The lyrics, the singers, the variety of instruments and the choruses. Imagine how different the world would be without Bon Jovi, Meatloaf, Alice Cooper, Robert Tepper, Van Halen, Kenny Loggins, Poison, Ah-Ha, Queen, I mean the list just goes on and on. And it wasn't just the 80s...a lot of music from the late 70s and early 90s also gets classified as 80s music. Any of the above mentioned groups could fill out a theatre or arena just by the thought that they might be there. How many bands today can say that? The greatest thing about 80s music is it appeals to everyone, from a 90 year old conservative guy to a teenaged liberal. Also, 80s music goes great with action movies. It just has that quality of being amazing
