Nice video. I'll be honest...I had a LiftMaster 8165 chain drive opener installed last year and I'm totally fine with a basic machine that doesn't have any bells and whistles. It's been reliable so far and it wasn't terribly expensive as far as a professionally installed unit is concerned.

What I really don’t understand is how the typical retail customer can answer a question about which motor he liked “best in 2022”. How many does a typical customer actually experience - ONE? No offense, but the survey is flawed. No one buys multiple of these options. So if they are voting for one, it is likely that they bought one. Is it possible that more individuals bought the cheaper Chamberlain model and therefore are voting for it? It is almost as though the questions should be for each model. Did you buy this model, would you buy it again? Of course you can say they had the option to buy whichever model they wanted, but often comes down to the price they wanted to pay. Great idea! But really ended up asking which one was most bought, not really which was one "Best"

Genies are junk out of the box. In my opinion there’s never a easy install there. Never an easy set up. Everything is complicated unnecessarily. LiftMaster definitely has my business easy set up easy install even easier if the homeowner wanted to install go liftmaster
