Aquaponics System - Powered by Nature - Zero Waste - Nutrient Recycling - Integrated Fish Farm

Показать описание
IRAAS ***Prototype***
Grow fish and vegetables sustainably using the most up to date modern aquaponics techniques.
Integrated Recirculating Aqua-Agriculture System (IRAAS) is an advanced aquaponics system that integrates components from the following systems into its operating process:
- Aquaponics
- Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS)
- Hydroponics
- Vertical Farming
- Constructed Wetlands Technology
- Waste Water Management
The system is sustainable, free of chemicals and pesticides, and in complete harmony with nature - creating a balanced ecosystem.
Developed specifically for the conservation of water resources and plant nutrients.
IRAAS is suitable for growing a wide variety of aquatic and plant species and requires very minimal energy. The system is designed to run off renewable solar power.
The constraints of water supply, soil type and land availability do not limit the implementation of IRAAS.
Such a symbiotic system is applicable to the needs and requirements of arid or semi-arid regions where fish and fresh vegetables are in high demand.
The system uses over 90% less water to grow plants and fish in comparison to traditional aquaculture and agriculture operations - reduced operating costs relative to either system in isolation, and can be scaled to any size from homestead, community to commercial.
