I do not have the Automation option. I only have the "auto optimization" option and it does not allow me to select specific times. This is outdated.

The feature is back with one UI 6.0. I don't think this is the same as manually restarting the phone. The phone does not say restarting after I enter the password like it would on a manual restart. could you elaborate on that please?

apparently it is replaced with auto optimisation now. The location to turn it on/off is still in Device Care

For s22+, this is how I do it:
Press the following- setting, device care, auto optimization, and lastly, auto restart (highlighted box at the bottom of the screen). From there, you can set the hour and day that you want to auto restart your phone. Hope this helps 😊

Thanks I had it set up from my note 10 and when smart switched to note 20 s21u and s22u it all worked fine then after a oneUI update it stopped working and forgot where it was looked everywhere "but" that hamburger 3dots menu button swear in earlier devices that it was right there under device care not in an additional menu to enable it.

They did away with this with Android 13.
