Julian, Dick, George, Anne, and Timmy the Dog are on holiday together again at Kirin Cottage, where they meet Tinker and his pet monkey, Mischief. Tinker tells the Five about a lighthouse at Demon's Rocks and soon they are exploring an undersea tunnel - leading to an incredible discovery.

It was dramatised by Philip Evans. It is abridged with a 60 minute running time, but maintains the tension and excitement without over-simplifying. Making it ideal for bed time or for kids on car journeys. Recorded by Abbey Home Entertainment under the Tempo Children's Classics brand in 1994.

This is shared from a recording of a cassette tape, so lots of old-fashioned tape noises and hiss, but still very listenable and an enjoyable telling for childhood nostalgia or for a new generation of listeners that can make pictures in the mind.
