I read an article stating that South Korean students go to school for around 8 hours then they go straight to cram school until like 10pm💀😢

In India lunch break is only 20 minutes and homework is endless. Then you do have to go to extra classes for 3-5 hours....

I taught English in a school in France for a few months and their school day was 8.00-18.00. I don't remember how many breaks they had but it wasn't enough. Absolutely insane. The first and last classes of the day were totally pointless because you could see how bored and tired and unable to learn all the children were :/

i’m korean and i visit south korea pretty often. the school days are around 8 hours but after that it’s basically required have tutoring for 1-2 hours, come home to eat dinner, and then usually another tutoring session. there’s also a LOT of homework. i believe the average sleep a highschool student gets in south korea is 4 hours..

Well, as an Indian, I have 6 hours of school, and then additional tution hours, with the 20 min break being the only relief
