I would love to see a macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis of BRICS and how AGI singularity would realistically impact their operations (being that they are heavily invested in manipulating global commodities supply chains. Not to mention that they have a great deal of influence and incentive to making bitcoin the global reserve currency. I think this would be an excellent video. Thank you so much for the work you do!

I think combing the core concept of a Resource-Based Economy with the strengths of blockchains (cryptocurrency) could be useful. Starting by tracking resources and energy use and trying to tie most transactions to those things if possible.

The nost important thing in an economy is the price system. I'm not talking about currency itself, but prices. Prices are the way people communicate their subjective preferences and capabilities in a way that lets the economy organizes itself in a decentralized manner. I highly recommend people to look up the "economic calculation problem" to know the importance of a price system in an economy.

While watching this video for a moment it feels like peeking into life in next century or beyond. It's interesting, when you realize that we too look back at our predecessors as people with very inefficient ways of doing things. Maybe the same will apply to us one day.

One thing that could have a huge effect on this is whether we get true completely realistic virtual reality. I'm talking about where you basically control the feed of all sensory data to the brain, and it is literally completely indistinguishable from reality.
In that scenario, you don't care about having a large house, because you can simulate it perfectly. You don’t care about having a yacht, or a luxury vacation because you can effectively have them virtually in a way that feels completely real in all ways.
But it needs to be completely indistinguishable from reality before it will satisfy everyone.

I think a social credit system is going to be a part of the new economy one way or another, and it will likely be calculated and managed if not enforced with AGI.
