Fun Fact: Peacock actually made and commissioned all of this, DreamWorks had little control and development over it. And there's a high chance that if DreamWorks actually made it instead of Peacock/their TV animation crew, it would've came out at a later time and would've been MILES better.

Also, the showrunners for the sequel and series don’t even know their own lore. I saw another trailer where the team of baddies are having a meeting, and some BBEG brain in a jar struts in and claims that it taught Megamind everything he knew about being evil. But if you watch the actual movie, Megamind grew up in a prison on Earth.
