I think Barba had one of the biggest character growths we've seen on SVU. He was so buttoned up when he first arrived and now he's relaxed and casual. He went from not being able to hold Noah to being Uncle Rafa. I hate that shows go from one extreme to the other, either the relationships end up being the main part of the show or characters barely have any personal lives at all. They can have romantic relationships and do their jobs

Could totally see Raf and Liv. When people first started mentioning them I wasn’t too sure but after this episode I hope the director tries them out!!

Honestly, no matter who you ship on SVU, this scene is pure joy for all shippers! Barson have Rafa coming over to cheer Liv up and Barisi have Sonny and Rafa sitting next to each other playing with Noah! And Rollivia shippers have Amanda bringing Jesse over to play with Noah!
