Bon Appetit Update : Earlier Sohla had mentioned that slowly BA is making positive changes, but now members of the Bon Appétit team have stated that Conde Nast Entertainment is not making fair, equitable and inclusive decisions and due to this behavior of Conde Nast, three valuable members of the video team are no longer with Bon Appétit.

Carla Music has also stated on her Instagram and Twitter handle that she is leaving Bon Appétit video and will no longer make videos or appear on BA videos!

I have been watching Bon Appétit videos for a very long time now and i thoroughly enjoy watching their videos and their test kitchen cast.

Assistant food editor Sohla El-Waylly from Bon appetit channel on YouTube, recently claimed of being marginalized and underpaid due to racism.

After 10 years on the job, Bon Appétit editor in chief Adam Rapoport resigned as top editor on June 8, after writer Tammie Teclemariam found a 2013 photo of Rapoport in brownface.

Sohla is very qualified and knowledgeable, and she should get the attention and compensation that she very rightfully deserves. In fact, not only Sohla, but the other BIPOC members too.
