That knife is stunning! I love folders with wide blades, shame it's too long for UK carry Lion Steel, please make a 3" blade for this.

@Kylef7735 No, locking folding blades are legal to carry in the UK, you just have to have a valid reason to be carrying it, ie for use at work. But the blade would still have to be 3" or less in length.

Just purchased the aluminum version, I really hope the frame lock will hold up for many years, hopefully for as long as the titanium version :S

@Kylef7735 You sir are correct. I also own a Spyderco UKPK Gin 1 Leaf blade, Maroon FRN handle, and I carry it whenever I can, it's a great knife. I'd recommend it, mine came absolutely razor sharp, and made in the USA to boot ;)

It looks like a very wide knife when closed. How wide is the knife at the widest point when closed? How does it carry in tighter jeans?

@mrmactknife Ohh trust me i have lots of experience with all manner of spydies, the ukpk is one of my favorite knives to give non knife people cause its just so simple, and so light, i love that thing. I wish i could have gotten the super high end ones, like the G10 or titanium versions.

@mrmactknife Ahh i see, i guess the spyderco UKPK is a slip joint so it is legal to carry no matter what you are doing.

Grade 5 Titanium is twice as strong as 6061 aluminium as i recall
