I'm gonna use this for helping to review job applications as we have had a suspicion recently that people have been using ChatGPT to write their applications.

I may be misinformed or just have old information, but this is what I saw before finding your video.

Mozilla Foundarion has an article for detection, they claim Open AI no longer works for detection, "...(Update: As of July 2023, a new ChatGPT update no longer includes the use of the AI classifier which Open AI used to detect AI-generated text and, as of early 2024, the company has even taken their original tool offline..."

Also most ai tools require 1, 000 words to meet their minimum threshold for accuracy. And even a likely hit is not proof of AI being used. It only indicates a level of possibility not the level of certainty.

Thanks for the tip. It doesn’t do a great job … yet. Pasted text almost entirely out of Bard straight into it and … “possible” was the best it could determine.

Pasted in something I wrote from scratch and it reported it was “highly likely” it was AI written.

Worth a shot, but I wouldn’t bring it in front of a judge. 🥸🔨😅
