Thanks for the review. I agree that not thinking about negative thinking (3 Principles style) is critical.
Focusing on process (input) goals rather than product (outcome) goals is key. We can’t control our competition so being #1 isn’t in our control. Showing up and working on our success list (vs todo list) each day is in our control. Check out “Organize Tomorrow Today” and “Atomic Habits”

Chasing money is an ego trip. Make yourself confortable financially and enjoy that. If you can pay for all you need to pay, and you're not stressed about money, more money will not add much more happiness.
The more you make and the more you'll want, and that's when money starts corruption your mind. That's when money becomes a selfish pursuit.
Opening an orphanage to look good isn't the reason you want money. You just want comfort and cool stuff. And that's fine, just own that and admit it, instead of pretending that giving to charities make it ok to want money.
