Chrysler Being Cut Again As Brands Being Shut Down In 2026

In today's video I talk about stellantis again flip flopping, they said recently all brands had till 2031 to show a profit, now that's changed yet again to 2026. You literally can not believe a thing this company says at all.
Chrysler and Maserati will most likely be the first brands cut or shut down.

As a European living in Belgium, I think he will cut off Chrysler and Dodge and only leave Ram and Jeep in America. It's a disaster here in Belgium as well cause all the dealerships from Peugeot, Citroen and Opel were closed to make a new 'leaner' model with joint showrooms and online selling. BUT there are huge software problems, dealers lose clients cause they are not able anymore to reduce prices like in dealerships of other brands so the customer goes 'shopping' elsewhere. The market penetration of the Stellantis brands are in freefall and went from 14% to 7.5% in one year! (in Belgium). I don't think Tavares stays in power untill 2026. The italian branch (Fiat, Alfa, Lancia, Maserati) is livid and are nearly boycotting him.

Chrysler was gone 2 years ago when their only product became a minivan. They are so stupid not to sell it now it clearly shows the mis-management.

By announcing their going to get rid of a brand, they're essentially killing it. They didn't even show up at the auto show. The arrogant, inept CEO made so many blunders, but they're keeping him. This company keeps creating it's own chaos. How about doing something like creating affordable, reliable vehicles that people can afford and will buy?

My Chrysler with the "highest quality ever" has a plastic "oil cooler" buried in the middle of the engine. If that doesn't tell you all you need to know, I don't know what does.

I think Chrysler might be already gone by 2026. It was part of Carlos's plan all along. He's getting rid of our brands one by one, then we'll be stuck with Fait, Alfa Rameo, and Maserati. And Stellantis could send Leapmotor over here too. It feels like we have no say. We're just along for the ride. And all of the UAW workers will be fired. I saw this coming a long time ago.

While KIA is bringing it's all new midsized truck Tasman to US shores in '25 you've got Ram 🐏 going on 15yrs without a compact/midsized truck in America. It's almost like Stellantis wants CJDR to fail in North America...

When Ford and GM started producing EV versions of their vehicles, they continued to produce the ICE versions. Stellantis is dumb.

In the minivan world the Dodge Grand Caravan sold tens of thousands more than the Chrysler Pacifica. All the product development money went to Jeep and Ram years ago. The end of Chrysler was obvious years ago.

I would have dropped the Chrysler 300 and reworked it into A modern Cordoba available as a 2 door Convertible or a 4 door hardtop standard with "Corinthian Leather Seats" and roundd headlights with an LED Halo rings. based on the Challenger and Charger platforms available with a 3.6 V6 or the 5.7 Hemi. A better idea Carlos Tavares ever could dream of.

Nothing new under the sun department. I may have told the story before, how OD denied the rumors, for months, in 1999. that the department I worked in was going to be shut down. Then a couple weeks before the end of December, management announced the department would be shut down at the end of the month and we were all tossed on the street, This how corporations treat people. The people who show up every day, and get the work done, are treated as expendable meat.

Out of the 4 American brands Jeep is the brand Stellantis is NOT going to sell because Jeep's the real cash cow of all 4 despite the turmoil that's happening with Stellantis they're gonna hold on to Jeep for dear life just watch
