Pastor Lorenzo Sewell full 2024 RNC speech: Donald Trump 'came to the hood' to visit Detroit church

The Rev. Lorenzo Sewell of Detroit's 180 Church was one of many speakers on Night 4 of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. In his speech, Sewell praised former President Donald Trump and credited God with saving Trump from the assassination attempt at his July 13, 2024, rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Pastor Lorenzo was, for me, one of the most inspiring speakers at the convention and the only one I’ve watched several times. There are no coincidences, only God.
Ephesians 6:11 says, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil".
