I understand, I was in a toxic relationship and I had no where to go. My spouse wanted to stay with the house. So I had no choice but to move. Apartment rents are expensive and I can't afford that. I kept thinking what to do and I don't have any family or friends I can stay with.

The option I thought of was to buy a manufactured home. Many people might be against this. But the manufactured home is mine and yes I pay a lot fee but it's cheaper than paying for an apartment or mortgage. Paying a lot fee is something that I can afford on just my income.

Sorry to hear you have to sell, you've been doing so well on refurbishing. Hope the chickens get to go with you. I think a smaller place with a little less land would work well for you. Take care and best wishes.

Girl, I say just buy yourself the best little tiny home you can & start I think you are biting off too much with buying land, bringing in a home you have to re-do. That is SO I think you'd LOVE an adorable tiny home, a community & some peace of mind. Hope you start to feel 💟

can you just put it up for rent and then take the money from the tenants to pay off your mortgage 🥺🥺💛

Buy a tiny house on wheels . I bought a land for 25k and bought tiny house for 47k, my utilities is only $25 electric, I have my own septics and water well so I don’t pay for those. The land and house is paid off

Don't feel guilt about "not feeling more sad." Actually, do the opposite. Encourage and allow yourself to be happy. Be happy about being happy, if that makes sense.

I had a feeling 😔 so sorry to hear this. I would say try Airbnb but that requires having cleaners and what not if you aren’t around. Maybe you can sell and get a smaller cabin/cottage? Kinda like Hannah Duggans first little cottage a few years ago before she purchased a larger home. That way you can keep all your furry friends ☺️

You aren’t selling your dreams my dear - you are selling an asset that you want the buyers to see their OWN ideas - you can accent the rooms with fresh flowers, colorful towels for decor - a bottle of wine in a basket with glasses with some warm colorful candles that smell like cookies. Minimize furniture so the rooms look larger and so they can envision their own furniture. No personal pictures, mirrors that you will take with you. Any curtains in there are usually assumed to go with the house. YOU will make a new home in the next place. Stay strong, life’s transitions are growing pains for the next adventure. You got this 🎉 🥰

Julia, I’m glad you got rid of him. You don’t need that toxic thing in your life. He’s too immature to be acting like that. Keep your therapist that keeping you sane and balance. Find what’s important to you and go for it. Life is too short to waste your energy hurting from that jerk. Keep moving forward girl. You will be just fine in time. Aj.

Julia, Check out Tia Weston she is renovating an old bungalow and she too sold a big house and is now fixing up a two bed one bath. I know everyone is into tiny houses, but America has a ton of post war small homes that maybe only a few hundred square feet bigger then a tiny and is established no bylaws for tiny homes. I am always trying to point this out. That these post WW2 homes are in most towns across the US and Canada and yes they may need updating but depending on the market you can get them cheeper and reno.
You could find one near your family and that way when you are on the road you have support for feeding animals and keeping an eye on the place. Good luck on what ever you do.

I absolutely love that you embrace therapy and talk about it! We really all need therapy.

Glad you got some girl time in, that's important.
Love turns nasty and hateful at the flip of a switch, it's ok...helps with healing and moving on. Time will heal the bitterness.
A fresh start, a tiny homestead (maybe) where you can build out from as money and time allows..? Travel, while you are still young. Life is too short not to explore it.
Much ❤

*What about getting back to van life?* At least for now. Save up while looking for a plot of land in different areas...states 🤷🏻‍♀️ use the money you save up while doing van life again & buy when you find your perfect little spot to build on? 🙂 just another idea

I love the sky light in the bathroom. And the brown is nicotine. It hangs around for years if people smoked in it🫣
