So James Cameron was on Mythbusters about 10 years ago and they tested whether or not Jack could’ve gotten on that door with Rose and survived. And it turns out HE COULD HAVE!😂😂 But at the end of the episode James had the perfect rebuttal which is “The script says he HAS to die, so maybe I should made the door smaller or something, but he has to die.”🤣🤣🤣

It’s not a question of them both fitting. It’s about the door still floating. Both could have fit but when they tried that it let too much water on which was too cold. That’s why Jack got off so Rose could stay drier and have more of a chance of not getting hypothermia.

0:49 Fully expected her to say, "It's been 84 years..."

It wasn’t a space issue, it was a buoyancy issue, HOW THE HELL IS THIS STILL A THING 27 YEARS LATER?!?!

I’ve grown to LOVE Kate Winslet. She seems such a lovely person and so down to earth.

25 years of being asked the exact same question over and over again - formidable.

The question is not if they can both FIT, the question is if the thing can handle both their WEIGHTS

which they address IN THE SCENE PROPER when they both get on it and it starts to sink!

I've been tinking. They shot Avatar 2 and 3 about five years ago. Olivia Colman would not be able to remember she was in it. 😅

I’m flabbergasted at Kate’s necklace, you can take a soda pull tab (dip it in gold) and put it on a chain.

Isn't James Cameron on record saying that it wasn't about space, it was about buoyancy.

Kate Winslet always has been one of my favourite actresses she's very talented and has always been a great role model for women in ageing gracefully and having a normal sized figure

It's not a matter of whether they could have both fit on the door. Had Jack stayed, it would have sunk a few inches below the surface and they would have both frozen to death. He sacrificed himself so she would stay above the waterline and have a greater chance of surviving.

Even though she’s 47 now, but to me, she’ll always be 46. And the fact that she survived in the water for 7 minutes, that’s a legend and iconic thing to do ❤. Also, it’s nice to see her working with the legendary director James Cameron again for 25 years since Titanic 🚢

She's aging beautifully, she looks like she could be Saoirse Ronan's big sister.

0:30 SHES BEEN ADMITTING THAT FOR YEARS UGH !!! HUNDREDS(not an exaggeration) of people have literally verbally harassed her IN PUBLIC because of that scene. People never stop bringing it up or arguing with her about it. She didn't write it, she didn't direct it, it was not up to her. She is sick and tired of having to be made fun of about it for 25 years straight. Almost every interview. stop being annoying little gremlins
