I really liked this scene. It wasn’t very long but added a lot of depth to mace windu’s character. It shows he did care for Anakin.
Also shows that Obi wan know about anakin and padme even before CW season 7

Shame this was deleted, it showed a different side of Mace Windu we hadn't seen. He seemed to be genuine in his reassurance to Obi-Wan about Anakin, and he didn't say "I told you so" about him being too old for training.

You can see that Mace Windu trusted Anakin here, but slowly as time passed throughout TCW TV series, his trust in Anakin began to fade away, up until the point of ROTS.

I love how windu makes sure to stand DIRECTLY behind the engines as obi wan is about to take off.

Obi-wan: "Master, I'm afraid Anakin is too emotionally attached to complete this mission."
Windu: "Relax Obi-Wan, it's not like he's gonna go crazy and turn on us."
Obi-Wan: "I'm just concerned that he..."
Windu: "That he what? Is he gonna start running around killing children? Listen to yourself Obi-Wan."
Obi-Wan: "You're right master, that does sound ridiculous. My apologies, I'm sure Anakin will be fine."

This scene serves three really good purposes that makes me wish it was included:
1. It shows Mace Windu's (and Yoda's) personal doubts about Anakin's readiness became more gradual and earned over time.
2. It shows Obi-Wan as a bit confused, distracted, by his friendship with Anakin over the course of the Clone Wars.
3. It explains how Yoda (and Obi-Wan) weren't too surprised by the extent of Anakin's relationship with Padme by the time of RoTS.

Mace Windus bemused smirk at Obi Wan telling Anakin has gotten arrogant and overconfident always makes me laugh as he’s clearly thinking...where do you think he learned it from?

This is a scene i have always said that needed kept in the film and not edited out.. and thank you so much for that trailer.. makes me smile everytime.. i love the way they became emotionally engaged in Attack of the Clones.. am 1 of the few that loved his performance with her..

I always believed that windu wanted what was best for anakin but he could feel his power. Being strict and stern with such a force must of seemed like the best course of action

This deleted scene make me realize that Mace Windu is actually doesn't hate Anakin at all but instead, just have high doubt or not confident on him

I feel like Windu in this scene is too nice, he’s speaking in a voice that doesn’t sound like Mace Windu, it sounds like Samuel L. Jackson. I don’t know how to explain it but if ya know ya know.
