Before learning how to answer, think about why the interviewer would ask you this particular question? Well, it is an icebreaker statement or a way to get you to transition into it. While answering, you may reveal some of the facts of your life that will help them carry the conversation forward and because they want to see if you are fit for the job.

✅First, you must start with a greeting, be sure of wishing the interviewer in the beginning and then introducing yourself. For example, Good Morning, I am xyz or Hello! Good afternoon, My name is abc, and then you can also say where are you from. Do greet according to the time of the interview. These are tiny things that we usually neglect but are very significant.

✅The next step is to add your basic educational details like your current or highest education and your college or university name.

✅In the next part of your answer, you can add your experience, if any. It can also be an internship that you have taken up in the past. For example, I worked as an intern in Cloud Computing, and I am certified by Google Cloud Services, or I worked as a Senior Analyst for xyz company for the last 2 years.

✅Finally, you can conclude by sharing your hobbies and interests. For example, I love travelling and reading or coding in my spare time. You can also mention your strengths and weaknesses if you wish to. Remember, weaknesses should never give a highly negative impression about you. Like: My strength is I am a team player, and I believe in collaborative development, and my weakness is that I am unable to say No to work.

Most importantly, be very concise about the details you provide, and the duration of your answer should be no longer than 90-120 seconds. Not to forget, delivering a closing statement is a must.
