Amid ongoing war against between Israel and Hamas, outfit’s chief Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Tehran on July 30. Ismail Haniyeh was in Tehran to attend swearing-in ceremony of Iranian President-elect, Pezeshkian. Rattled Hamas issued an official statement accusing Israel of killing and called it a “Heinous terrorist crime”. Iranian President Pezeshkian said that Tehran would make "occupiers regret their cowardly act". Meanwhile, a statement of Israeli Ambassador to India Naor Gilon came to spotlight where he talked about Hamas senior commanders in an exclusive podcast with ANI. He also talked about Hamas senior leader Yahya Sinwar.
