They need to add being able to shoot from vehicles like on Pubg. Getting out of a car in dayz is like an olympic event you have to open rhe door, make sure the vehicle is stopped, then go through a 5 second animation that is un skippable. Cars in dayz are death traps, for so many reasons

Fun lil story
ARMA II, Wasteland servers
A group of friends and I pile as many vehicles as we can on each end of Kamyshovo, along with constructing elevated fortified positions looking over both piles. Usually set up around 20 cars before the first victim.
We spam out on the chat "boats flying in Kamyshovo" and like magic cars and armor would come to investigate, only to drive straight into a wall of M240, M2, AS-50, and mortar fire
It worked so well people would fly over and just strafe the town
So we got AA setup and started zapping jets and helis
The cars would continue to pile and pile
More and more people would start to come for revenge and to investigate
Kamyshovo was perfect because it was a kind of blind turn from the both ways. The mountains obscure the North side, ocean fills the south side.
Before they even see the piled car barricades and start to stop, they'd be in range.
Options were slowly make a U-Turn (and die)
Drive into a steep forested mountain
Drive into the ocean
Get out to fight (and die)
Good times, loved ARMA II. Great memories. Setting up an ambush on that game was always rewarding
