Morning y'all. It's going to be a hot few days. I'm about 30 miles from Galveston in Brazoria county in Texas. Been without power since Monday morning around 4 am. We got a little damage but we are fine. I made coffee on the gas stove this morning. We will be ok. Hugs all.

My grandmother used to joke that on the farm in the upper peninsula of Michigan they had running water when she was a girl. The kids would run down the hill to the creek to get the water and run back up! LOL

Just food for thought. Me and my husband love to grow our own food and have encouraged our local churches to put up vegetable gardens on their property. Two of them have and it’s been a great blessing for both the church and a way to serve their neighbors in the community. It has been especially helpful for the older widows who often cannot afford to buy produce and are not able to grow for themselves.
Our church is small but we still have enough who consider it a blessing to work in these beautiful gardens.

I’m left with a sobering feeling in regard of Danny’s talk with us about the food.
My husband and I are seniors and each of us have physical problems, so we can’t have a garden. But, as Danny often says, “Look for solutions”. That’s where my mind is going now, and will continue to go.
I feel thankful to Mr Danny’s sincere and honest Porch-times he faithfully gives us.

This year my gardens are challenging! I'm so thankful that I have 3 years of food and a greenhouse. Also, we have not shopped in a grocery store in over a year and we are healthier!! Hubby is 72 and I am 66 -- we are physically active for 8 - 10 hours a day and both of have health issues. The GROCERY store was killing

Just lived through Beryl in Houston area. No power since Monday before day. Doing ok, because The Lord has been leading me to prepare for years. Generators both gas and solar. Camping stove with plenty of propane. All is well. Praise God!!

It is so hot Mr Danny. That hurricane made landfall in my town. It was a wicked storm. I just went in my garden and staked up my plants that were laying down trying to salvage them.I just got my power back today. Thanks and God bless you and Miss Wanda. Much love.💜✝️

Mr. Danny and Mrs. Wanda, we thank y’all for all you do! We’ve been growing our own food for a while and HAD good result till now. The crap sprayed from the sky ( you know what trails) is effecting our gardens. Northeast Georgia just finished a 40 plus day drought. Our potatoes yield’s where below par and the corn is growth is stunted. I know the metals that rain down from the sky is greatly damaging the earth. Before the drought when it did rain a lot we would notice that a day or two after the rain the ground was again almost as hard as concrete. My wife and I believe the sprayed metals are drying the ground out. That’s just our observation.

You're right about the weather. I'm 57. The weather and seasons are VERY different than when I was a kid. I remember always having to have a winter coat, hats, scarves and gloves/mittens. Then, I remember when my kids were little a heavy jacket would do on the coldest days. The summers were NEVER like they are now. What's really sad to me is that most young people today don't even know what they see above their heads is not natural. I also remember when my oldest was a baby (now 36) that it got real hot one year. We had 90's all through the month of September. We thought it was awful. September was usually the month where everything started cooling down. Even with that, the HOT was way different. These kids don't know what food is or weather. They never look up anyway. You can tell the people that eat a LOT of the processed food. They are usually overweight. Some severly so. They look puffy. They have this look about them. Swollen. You can certainly tell what they eat. You don't have to see their cart in the grocery store to know what they eat. You truly are literally WHAT you eat. And the effects of it are all around staring us in the face. It's so sad. I'm hearing now people are taking these stickers in the shoulder to lose weight. The side effects of these things that were never meant to be used for weight loss are going to get these folks. You can take this stuff. But, as soon as you stop taking it....the weight will come back. Plus, you're going to get ill from all the side effects if they aren't already. It's a sad cycle. People liking convenience and "the easy button"....are going to have a sickly old age IF they live that long. .

Middle TN here. Just came in from my garden. Struggling with the heat and lack of rain. No rain since June 1st. Plants are dying or not producing anything. The month of May was the extreme opposite. Raining every day. Flash floods. Intense! Came here for some words of encouragement, since most everyone I talk to thinks everything is fine and I'm just losing my mind.

I don't comment much on a lot of groups anymore and I follow even fewer. I really enjoy your posts and videos. Sadly there are a lot of educated beyond their intelligence 'experts', that only want to tell me I'm doing things wrong, if I'm not doing it their way. If I've made soap for decades, it works great, it's easy to make and I love it, I'm really not too worried they think I need correcting and need to learn to do it the right way. I'm tired of telling people they need to learn to do things and holding the recent lock down that crippled our country in front of them as an example only to have it brushed off as a one time thing that couldn't ever happen again. I applaud the people that hang in there like you do and I enjoy watching your videos.

I am northern Ca. in the summer we can get very hot on some days, 110 degrees F is not uncommon on some days. We have seen 118-120 degrees F this past week, never have I seen these temps in more than 22 years living here. My beautiful persimmon tree leaves are fried, despite watering regularly! I have never seen plants and trees struggle like they are now. I bought 50% sun shades for my garden hoping to give them some relief. I would move but Lord, I don't know where to go, and my kids/grand kids are in this area. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know, oh and our air conditioner just stopped, Lord have Mercy, Literally!
