This Persona Easter Egg Trend Goes Way Back Than You think

The only one I remembered getting refrence in P5 is naoto as the original detective prince, chie as a rookie police officer whose good at martial arts, and the most obvious rise from the poster in the train station... but people say that teddie and yukiko got refrence also but I missed it 😅

It goes back even further. The female main character from Shin Megami Tensei if... Is a background character in Persona 1. She transfers to your school.

My favorite Persona 2 reference is easily the hermit social link for P3, Innocent sin online and the whole thing with *redacted* using maya as thier character name and the Protag using tatsuya. Best part is in the last day of the game where you talk to the social links and one of the funniest scenes with *redcated* happens

Don’t want to spoil it but that scene alone was worth maxing out the hermit social link and is one of my favorite social links ever
