If you want your money’s worth, don’t fly first class on a Delta connection. Best you’ll get is like a boxed meal that consists of small mediocre sandwiches or cheese platter that’s nasty. Mainline flights usually offer warm oven cooked meals with a few varieties to choose from. Also don’t drink coffee on an airplane unless you absolutely need to, cuz the water lines are never cleaned and we flight crews would never drink it unless we really needed something to push us through the remaining flights of the day.

First class was inaccurately represented because you took one of their short flight planes which don’t showcase their standard FC seats and IFE.

Most people don't pay for first class on short hops like that. The only reason it even exists is to give connecting passengers a more seamless first class experience. For example someone flying Boston to Phoenix would feel ripped off if they sat in coach from Boston to Charlotte and only received First class on the Charlotte to Phoenix leg.

there is a tv in the first class seat. on the front seats at delta the tv is folded into the arm rest and needs to be unfolded to use.

The flights are better the longer they are. Even with economy, International flights with have screens, a meal, blanket, pillow, and more leg room (at least in my experience)

His ticket says Delta Z Class. Delta Fare class Z is a revenue fare/booking class of service that is marketed as Discount First Class/Delta One on Delta Air Lines. The fare class is considered a discounted First Class/Delta One.

If you fly to another country, you will get a much more pleasant experience in first class as it is a longer flight they provide flatbeds and a lot more to offer hope this helps❤

I looked up delta flights the other day just out of curiosity. A first-class ticket from JAX to PDX (where my family lives) was $1800. Economy was $450. Ik these prices change depending on when you book your flight and how far you’re going, but basically if you want a real “first class” delta experience while staying within the United States, your trip has to be more like at least 5 hours, and you’re gonna be spending a LOT more than $200 for either first class or economy 💀
