As a dedicated D&D dungeon master I cannot express how much inspiration this image and music has given me. This whole album combined with the image just makes me picture a ruthless tyrant ascending the throne of an oppressed people to lead them in vengeful conquest. The vibes are immaculate, not a single miss in this one!

The first music and the cover is really giving the vibes of a hero rising as a villain who's about to start a world domination .

I love how the song prompts me to imagine and create a whole universe for the background image. It makes me question what would make such an extremely massive gathering of people, all shadowed and mysterious, gather for a single person.
Maybe it's just the fact that it's 3 am here but this still gives me goosebumps.

I know what you are feeling…
Lost, repeating the same mundane life, no purpose, no true reason for living…
But let me tell you this, time isn’t relevant…get up, make a plan, strive for what you believe in, don’t assume you can’t and try, just try…

You will succeed and when you do. I will be here to congratulate you. Now go, let a legend be born!

I was looking for the perfect music for the final encounter with the BBEG to finish my DnD campaign. I have found it. The beginning gave me chills as I practiced my monologue for the character. This is absolutely EPIC.

"Every day I have fought to not die. To continue to fight but that stops today. Today, I know I will most likely die but I will die knowing that I brought your Rule to an end. Today is the day I choose to die for the better of those you have cast aside and hurt"

I am a sucker for beautifully dark music. Due to its contradictory nature, its extremely difficult to make, so I don't usually come across much, and when I do it only truly captures one vibe. There's always a primary- the vibe you feel the most- and a secondary- the vibe you kind of feel, but also can easily miss- but this is perfect. The suspense and intensity is perfectly mixed with the even, clean feelings carried by the violin. I feel like a lot of people are this way, but I also feel like few are this way too, but often times I can listen to music that's peaceful and tranquil and I'll write a comment about it and how its amazing and beautiful, but then five minutes later I could go from that peaceful, calm vibe to the cold intensity of Baltias Hviti- a character I created for a book I'm writing. Baltias Hviti, or The White Wolf is the main antagonist of the story, who was created as the embodiment of this vibe I find myself in sometimes. What makes the character formidable is not their appearance as much as it is how little is known. Granted, appearance is a large part of the vibe or feeling someone gives off, but humanities greatest fear is the unknown. I plan to tap into that to help push the vibe. Think of this: you're in a place called The Edge; the thin, three mile wide stretch of land between civilization and the Balitaen- a frozen wasteland of ice and snow. If you've ever seen Jumanji: The Next Level, think of the mountaintop that Yeargans fortress sat atop. Frozen and full of ice, almost impossible to traverse, 30+ mph winds on good days, a near constant whiteout on worse days, constant subzero temperatures (in Fahrenheit) and you have the Balitaen. Imagine being here, the light level is equivalent to that of a full moon on a clear summer night due to the amount of snow in the air and out of the drifts of snow blowing past, you catch a glimpse of a figure dressed in all white, a sharp, elven style helmet covers their face and they have a broadsword in one hand with a recurve bow slung across their back. You see them for only an instant before the storm swallows them back up. They radiate an aura of power and strength. Of danger and horror, but also a hint of safety. When the snow clears again, they're gone. Imagine the feeling you'd have at that instant- the cold, harsh grasp of fear and curiosity; the dangerous edge of violence and safety. The contradictory protectiveness and danger. The feeling that something is going to go wrong and the feeling that you're guarded. That is the feeling I am talking about. That is also the feeling of this music. A false security that might not be so false, but might also be your end.

If you are hearing this. Congratulations.
I can feel your tear's drying.
One more deep breath. One deserved good sleep.
Start again.
You did it once maybe 100 times.
Do it again.
You can.
Grind your teeth. Have it. Do it. You are it's boss.
You own it
Who knows, it may start again tomorrow.
Don't matter, you can boss it.

Many may say that dark themed soundtracks are not beautiful, but F me, this is incredibly perfect! I'm a clarinetist and I've not heard anything this deep. Also, for some reason, most parts remind me of GOT, I hope that I'm not only one with the same opinion!

We’ve been here before, in this very moment where we had to sacrifice all of the things our ancestors and guardians have given us.

“Be not like a dumb knight, waiting for demise. Tonight, we shall retake what's ours. We shall retake what’s was rightfully from our ancestors!”

From that moment on, everyone lined up and a glint of determination and power oozed within us all. The guardians have heard us.

The air crackled with anticipation as we stood united, echoing the spirits of our forebears. The ancestral echoes spurred us forward, igniting a flame that fueled our collective resolve. In that pivotal moment, we embraced the legacy passed down to us, vowing to reclaim what rightfully belonged to our lineage.

The guardians, attentive to our call, stood ready to guide us through the impending journey.

sorry in advance, I’m No author or movie director but this soundtrack is soo well done and fits perfectly together. it inspired me to imagine a whole cinematic film. this movie wouldn't be exactly about dying (the day we choose to die) but it would involve lots of death, but the real meaning behind "today i chose to die" isn't that they want to die but rather they're losing themselves to their desire or hatred. which is the death of ones self, not the death of their body though "good" antagonist and "Mother" both die physically aswell.

THE DAY WE CHOOSE TO DIE 0:00-2:50. The opening scene starts with the life of our Protagonist, they live a life of hardship, essentially slave labor. They are nothing in this society making ends meet barely surviving. 1:30-1:50 an army of labor camp guard's are moving in and beating and nearly, or actually killing many laborers ones who are weak that can't fight back the ones who are starving and becoming "useless in the eyes of the empire" this is all unfolding in front of our Protagonist. 1:50-2:50 this is when the protagonist declares to themselves that they will kill the empress; a cruel ruthless leader one without mercy for anyone beneath her. her subordinates live a life of fear under her rule the protagonist begins plotting the empress's demise, stating to themself “today I chose to die”. MOTHER 2:56-5:27. in this scene we see "Mother" the Main antagonist, the Empress, her life, her upbringing, the court intrigue, we see she has children and deeply cares for them, we see her tender side 4:11 we see "Mother" and all the awful things she's had to do to stay in power we also learn she didn't want this life, it was forced upon her by her parents raising her to be as cold hearted and ruthless as she is in the current time 4:25 shows her constantly struggling with the battle between being ruthless to her subordinates and being tender with her children 5:00 we start to see her loose this battle between tender and ruthless her children had fallen severely ill, she had called every physician in her empire to treat her children, with no cure to be seen her children pass away. In Mothers voice we hear “today i chose to die” 5:13 she has lost her children her heartbreaks, a switch flips in her demeanor she has become a shell of who she was her tender side lost, she turns on the physician that was treating her children in their last moments putting all of the blame on to the physician slaying him where he stood with her bare hands drenched in his blood she grins. HIDDEN LIES 5:40-8:00. we watch as the protagonist works their way up the ranks striving to get into a position close to "Mother" there are ups and downs but eventually our protagonist gets into a position of power, one closest to "Mother" her concubine while our main protagonist is plotting "Mothers'' death they enjoy the life of the spoiled, feasting like royalty, sleeping on silk and feather and many other luxuries. 7:27 our protagonist has figured out how they plan to murder "mother" now that they are in a position one in which they share a bed with "mother"; at "mothers'' beck and call. FIREFLY 8:00-11:22. we see our protagonist now struggle with deciding to put their plans in motion, our protagonist feeling a sense of connection with "Mother" from a sad upbringing one that neither of them chose, positions they had been forced into, one the life of a lowly laborer, the other the life of an empress. Our protagonist with the time spent with "Mother" was able to see a miniscule spark from “mother”, one of tenderness which no one new "mother" had. 9:13 the walls have eyes and ears our careful protagonist wasn't so careful when plotting, mother knows his secrets and has known them for a long time she was stringing our protagonist along leading them to believe she had no idea what was coming, "mother" knowing that the protagonist has put their plans in motion, motivating members of the court and laborers to stand against "mother" she confronts them with armed guards. surrounded our protagonist has to choose to lay down their life or try fleeing. Our protagonist chooses the latter fleeing with their life so that they can enact their plan on a future date, barely making it out, they are now a fugitive. DIASPORA 11:26-14:35. Having fled the empire our protagonist now surviving the wild on their own is laying down the framework of a rebellion once more, further motivating the court of the empress and her subordinates, Dominoes falling in place word of a rebellion spreads throughout the underground the people most willing to rebel stepping up forming gorilla warfare squads taking places of importance and resources needed by force.UNDER; 14:35-17:13.We are introduced to a new Character “good” Antagonist, whilst their actions in this scene are evil they will become a “good” character. “Mother” facing consequences of this gorilla warfare is desperate she sends out her bodyguard her right hand and protector to dissipate the underground rebellion we see a strong hulking suit of armor single handedly storm many of the rebellions headquarters slaying anyone in their path in the name of “Mother”. CIVILIAN 17:10-19:36; in this scene we see "good" Antagonists witnessing how merciless and ruthless their leader is we watch “good” antagonist returning to the empress after having slayed many rebellion members, “good” antagonist is faced with “Mother” standing in front of “good” antagonists wife and children bound by chains, ”Mother” declares i have found some rebel rodents scurrying around my quarters, these are yours are they not? (insert “good” antagonists name) “good” antagonist pleads with “mother”; “i have slain many of your enemies please spare my wife and children i promise i won't let them step out of line again”. And “mother” responds with “it's too late they’ve betrayed the empire, how do i know you won’t step out of line as well?” as she has each of the “good” antagonist’s family members executed. 17:41 the drums are like heartbeats, this is the part right after the "good" Antagonist loses their family the thing they hold dearest. The heartbeats are the sign of their shock but it’s also the moments in which the "good" antagonist plots out a desperate attempt to fight “Mother”. 18:40 in this scene the "good" antagonist gets beat down by “Mother”. 18:46 the "good" antagonist gets back up and continues to fight “Mother”, this time the fight is in the favor of the "good" antagonist he is now joined by the protagonist and the rebellion. The Moment Civilian ends and Collapse starts (19:33) is the moment the “Mother” gets a finishing blow on the "good" antagonist. COLLAPSE 19:39-22:13; 19:40-20:06 is a monologue in the "good" antagonist's voice which details their life under “Mother's” rule, he was loyal, he trusted her, he did anything “mother” wanted. and around the 20:00 mark in the monologue the "good" antagonist states "today I chose to die" as it shows what life they had left slip from their body. 20:06-21:20 is the Protagonist reeling from the shock that their enemy turned ally the "good" antagonist Fought against “Mother” but failed it also is the scene where “Mother” is seen trying to flee the battle 21:20-22:00 is when “Mother” is turned on by all of her subordinates, She fights like wild killing many people who she once ruled over with great authority now defying her commands.22:00-22:13 shows mother succumbing to the will of her subordinates “Mother” is now dead. DRIFT 22:13-24:21;. With “mothers” death we see new leaders stepping up, a council is installed instead of an emperor or empress, we see the empire rebuilding its strength trying to heal and recover from such a sad existence in which they were ruled over by an iron fist.23:26 we pan out to see the greater picture we see many continents with many kingdoms and empires, all of which are sending armies out to seize “mothers” empire for their own after hearing word that their was a power struggle and the death of a tyrant . AVARIN 24:20-26:26; we get to see a moment of peace one where “mothers” empire has reforged it self, but we also feel their Trepidation, they know they will be facing a multifront war, against many kingdoms and empires they once didn't know existed. GRAVITY 26:26-28:59; The Enemy kingdoms and empires have staged themselves around “Mothers” Empire surrounding its walls from each side. (this would be the ending eluding to another film)

If i was to cast this cinematic the only characters i know would be Mother and “good” antagonist. i would cast The musician aurora as the role of Mother. She looks so innocent like i imagine mother would look but yet still having an intimidating/commanding look that an evil empress would have. And for “good” antagonist i would cast someone like Dwayne The Rock Johnson or Paul Donald Wight “Big show” solely for their hulking stature
