MasterChef's Andy Allen On What He'll Miss Most About His Mate Jock Zonfrillo

From the moment they became MasterChef judges, Jock Zonfrillo and Andy Allen became close friends. Still reeling from his sudden loss, Andy sat down with The Project and told us about his favourite memories and what he will miss most.

Seeing Andy so broken over Jock's passing is breaking my heart. You could see the friendship and respect between the 2 of them on the show, but knowing that they were so close off screen too makes me sad and smile at the same time.

The 2 of them and Melissa are great hosts.They have good chemistry. They are one of the reasons i enjoyed watching masterchef. I still couldn't believe he is gone.

I cried a lot upon seeing Andy. He is in pain and terrible sadness in losing his very close friend, Jock. He is really broken-hearted struggling to be strong. This was truly devastating to watch. So proud of Andy for getting through that chat considering how tough it was for him to do. And Jock would be having a laugh seeing Andy drinking something he didn't like in his honour.

It's so sad knowing Jock won't be on Masterchef anymore. As Andy said, he was the life and soul of the competition, and it won't be the same without him 😢 but I'll definitely continue to watch.

Its really weird for me to shed tears for someone I don't even know personally, I mean I only watched him and the trio for only a few months not even a year, but I love him, I love watching him.
