I like the issue where a teenager finds Peter's bag with extra shooters in it and tries to operate them but a human doesn't have the strength to push the lever. Never occurred to me before but it was a nice touch!

I don't think it's coincidence, but I don't think Ditko "stole" it. I think it's the sort of thing where say a comedian will hear a joke then completely forget about it. only to write a very similar joke sub-cauntiously. I think Ditko likely read about spider Queen then just COMPLETELY forgot then Incorporated that into Spider-Man.

Ditko had probably read the Spider Queen as a kid, then it settled into the back of his subconscious mind, coming out 20 years later when he was asked to create a spider character. Like George Harrison and "He's So Fine" or Radiohead and "He Ain't Heavy (He's My Brother)."

Spider Queen you covered, but the Golden Age Daredevil had a great run in Image's Savage Dragon.
