That duck episode is more a reference to Voltes V and Daimos and Mazinger or whatever its called, especially the sword.


These are animes from the 80s and 90s that are relatively obscure in both the west and japan, but quite popular everywhere else.

To me the least crazy episode of regular show was the one where Mordecai was obsessed with bringing Margaret her sweater and started hallucinating that it came to life because he couldn't let go of her. It also felt really relatable.

The craziest one to me was the one where Rigby was jinxed and ended up summoning this nightmare, demon version of himself that zombified people.

The Least Craziest Episode to me is Eileen's Flat screen because it's just Mordecai, Rigby and CJ putting a Flat Screen TV and getting her apartment together. The woman is crazy but not super naturally crazy.

A "regular episode" in regular show should be defined as: an episode where the two main characters Mordecai and Rigby are either assigned a task or have something to do and everything seems completely normal at first. Then something that otherwise shouldn't happen ever does and is a possible world ending dilemma. At this point Mordecai and Rigby have to get help and they do. Ensue a fight/battle. When all seems lost something happens to save the day and everything is fine. And the ending is usually a saying that wasn't necessary usually with Benson yelling or a character complaining.
