Hi Akis,
Just wanted to let you know that I made this yesterday, but I used 1/2 and 1/2 that was just slightly beginning to turn sour and needed to be used. Normally, I would make rice pudding with it but decided to try with this recipe instead. I did add a little water so the macaroni could cook through. The only other change i made was to leave out the thyme. I just went for straight cheese flavor. Well, let me tell you--decadent is the word! Soooo thick and cheesy and delicious!!! I may end up with clogged arteries but I'll never make Mac & Cheese any other way ever again! 😂😋💕
