This song was played when Gray's teacher Ur sacrificed herself to seal away the monster that destroyed his hometown with an ice magic that took away the life of user. It was honestly one of the saddest moments in Fairytail and I truly cried for her<3

ahhhh I just re-watch her '' last ep'' and I couldn't stop my tears, I I wish she knew she didn't failed, wish she knew how many lives she saved !!! !!

I actually didn't expect Simon to die in that episode. When he took his last breath and sees erza as her childhood form, I couldn't hold tears anymore .

After the first minute and 50 seconds i thought ok, is this all? There are much better Fairy Tail themes than this one.
But the emotional build up in this theme is among the best i have ever heard,
From 1:52 til 2:30 it started to stir something in me, then from 2:31 til 2:50 the feeling became stronger and those last epic seconds i realized my eyes began to water.

This is what makes Fairy Tail such a great anime. The powerful music that turns some otherwise emotionless moments into heart-wrenching ones.

Allow me to post an unsolicited review. Fairy Tail, though it has some flaws, is in my opinion one of the best shounen anime out there. It has a wide range of  lovable characters, most of whom have a backstory, motives for their actions, and also have character development. The music is a lot better than one would expect from an anime of this genre. Fairy Tail doesn't have too many fillers, and is both funny and epic, and at times even moving. Particularly striking is the romance between certain secondary characters. It may seem insignificant but it is in fact remarkable because it rarely ever happens that a secondary character relationship happens as the story progresses instead of it being a mere character trait. The anime flows pleasantly from one arc into another, always leaving questions unanswered as it ought to do. It is in overall well-balanced; despite the large number of secondary characters, they are all given the right amount of attention without depriving the primary characters of the spotlight they should be in. Looking at you, Bleach :/
As for the bad things; the nakama-boost scenes are horribly cliché and happen several times each arc, and the fan-service is kinda annoying since it's so badly done. Hearing Natsu talk about fighting for his friends after being brought to his knees was already predictable the first time it happened. As for the fan-service; it doesn't have to further the plot but it has to make a little sense at the very least. They must be ignored, however, because FT is too good to miss. Still, it would have been substantially better had its target audience been older. FT is good, but it could have dealt with many more interesting topics and could have had cooler fights if not for the kiddie rating. It could have offered more.

This song is the poetry that goes into our ears inserting the beauty of the feelings; the courage, the passion, the strenght and in 0:45 goes the melody of an harp drawing on our souls their way in its simplicity and magnificence. Just feelings on this songs; Those are us into the story of Fairy Tail, seeing every moment.

I love the Fairy Tail OSTs, I think it's my favourite soundtrack from any anime, it's just so beautiful and emotional and i get an abundance of feels every time!
