Remco could have coasted until the finish but he decided to push and made all the final straight sending kisses and pointing to the sky, I really don't see anything selfish in those gestures

The most important thing is the intention. You can disagree with how remco decided to do a gesture for gino but i don't think it's right to say that he did this for himslef. Every one is different and remco is still young and has plenty to learn. The internet is most of the times needlessly cruel.

By the way. Lots is being studied in terms of correlations and indicators. So far, it seems that there is a strong correlation between haters (f.ex. Remco-haters), Covid-deniers, conspiracy theorists, dictator admirers (Putin- or Trump lovers f.ex.) and general psychological frustration. Strange isn't it?
