By all stats, marriage is a bad deal for men. You dont sign contracts where the woman is paid to leave. This is the reality.

I have lived thru 4 divorces in my 36 years of life one was mine I have panic attacks before court they are my boogy man I have seen them from both sides from that of son of the mother and father and as a father and husband being divorced the courts never cared about me or my sister they pick and choose who to serve and when I went a month in January in 98 without heat because there was a mistake by the clerks 2000 dollars withheld because they loss track of payment my dad had to come and show the receipt and prove he paid again it was March 10 before we had heat I believe the courts shouldn't be allowed to judicate marriage the marriage tax bracket should be abolished how we do it im willing to talk about but we need less government involvement in marriages.

Maybe you need to be less optimistic. Pearl has said that marriage is good, but what we have in our society today is not marriage. It is some strange ceremony wearing the skinsuit of marriage. When starting a business you evaluate risk vs reward. You ignore rhe risk.

Marriage as a concept yes good. Two people come together to be only each others forever both contributing to the family and home. Today though? It only benefits women who don’t want to contribute anything but yet want men to give them everything and then if they cheat and leave she still gets half his stuff even with a prenup she could get a good portion of his stuff regardless.
