I wish Reggie would find his English second cousins (George's other great-grandkids) and meet them. He already has the names of their grandparents (George's other children). With the power of the BBC behind him, it should not be too difficult to trace those lines of his family down to the present day. Some of them may be quite shocked to discover that their great-grandfather had another family on the side, but others may love discovering a new cousin.

Too bad this is only for celebrities. It’s a shame that we as a people can’t trace our lineage. Wish this was offered to everyone.

I've watched this man since I was young. A beautiful entertainer and a British treasure.

The slightly annoyed researchers/library readers in the background are litterally going "who do you think you are?" 😂

I think the fact that his great-grandfather returned before his son was born says a lot about the man. It's very possible he had a loving relationship with his family in Africa.
This cute guy should try and find out more about both sides of the family.

' a long, um, tradition' says it all really, and his great grandmother's story is conspicuously absent/not recorded.

A long tradition of relationships? I'm sure the women who were subjected to the cruelty of the British men would say different.

Back in those days, people could get away with hiding all sorts of things.

The advantage here is that those affiliated with the show are better at interpreting what information they do find.
There is an abundance of knowledge out there, but the average person must first educate yourself on how to search. If you hit a wall, there are ways to obtain help.
Jump in and see what you find! You won't know until you try.
