It is amazing to find someone, whom i've never met nor talk to before, who holds similar believes and takes inspirations from the same places. People still question psychoanalysis, but here I am, using the same arguments, asking the same questions, lead by the same processes.

Im intj and you are intense. BUT its perfect because you keep my intuition kind of muffled. Therefore i am only allowed to think of what you are saying. Which im 100% interested in, in every video i watch. And its amazingly therapeutic, and my brain feels like it finally gets a break for a while! All while i take in amazing information.

31:08 I couldn’t help but notice that there is a point at which Chase says something along the lines of:

‘ there’s potential here, we just don’t know. ’

That summarizes how you should qualify nearly every single statement in this lecture. You don’t just get to assert that,

‘ it is possible that a conscious super organism must exist because it is possible for small conscious organisms to exist. ‘

You have to SHOW or provide evidence that it is actually possible first. Why would you accept something is true just because it could possibly be true.

That may be the fundamental difference between how ENTP’s and INTP’s (like me) think. My impression from these two types is that,

ENTP’s imagine what could be possible then logically evaluate that.

INTP’s evaluate what’s true then imagine possibilities from that.

to summarize I think that CS Joseph is just imagining more than he can show is true.

This lecture is one of your crowning achievements Chase, Thank You (from an INTJ ) The sentient (expediency stuff) is real, I see it getting closer everyday. I had a vision(dream) in my teenage years that showed me the sentient coming into existence, it was very vivid and very real. The message in the dream was clear, DO NOT let it happen, the fate of humanity rests upon this. I still remember it clearly to this day some 25+ years later. Chase, you have given me another piece to the puzzle, "Do the meaningful, not the expedient." Thank you, sincerely.

Pet peeve regarding the dismissive "just a theory"... In scientific terms, the meaning of "theory" is not equivalent to the meaning of "theory" as it's used colloquially. A _scientific theory_ explains why or how things happen, such as the theory of relativity, as opposed to a "scientific law, " which calculates measureable outcomes with an algorithm or equation, such as Boyle's Law or the Law of Reciprocal Proportion. The word "theory" does not mean "unproven" or "just a guess not supported by evidence." Nor is it equivalent to a mere hypothesis.

This is peak ENTP. I have done the same kind of explaining and felt that I was probably more misunderstood after. It's very ENTP to think that there's patterns amidst chaos. Also very ENTP to believe that there's multiple perspectives to reality

Hello, I have seen a lot of your lectures and I must say without a doubt is this the one I am most impressed and inspired by. It is sad that this dreadful future is coming and that there are lots of people willing to do the expedient instead of the meaningful. But I hear you and I believe you that this future is coming and I believe that we all have a decision to make, a decision which will most certainly define us. I am so glad that there are people like c.s. joseph out there preaching, teaching and inspiring us to do the right thing and try to work together as a hole so we can become holy, for this is the meaning in life, to love one as yourself. I am truly inspired by your lectures, c.s. joseph and I am ready to learn, to love and to preach, as you have, to the day where we will all have to decise whether to do the meaningful thing or the expedient.
