In this video I touch on a few points regarding the philosopher's stone as well as the production of gold from Mercury. Here's the link to the document I referenced:

While on a heap of magic mushrooms I had this idea beamed to me "If God's wisdom is foolishness to men, then the most valuable mineral one could possess would have to be fools gold."

Its also interesting that you say glass as a term that comes up when studying Alchemy is the Rebis or Hermaphrodite. As you may or may not know, Rebis coming from the Latin "Res Bina" meaning "Dual or Double Matter". Glass is oddly enough, both a liquid and a solid at the same time. Theres probably more of a scientific explanation for that though. Whereas it might not necessarily make glass a dual-substance, it is a dual-phase transitioning substance or material. Even though I have been interested in alchemy for at least 18 years give or take, it has only been in the last few years that I have really dedicated myself to further study of alchemy. Maybe ashamedly I admit that I neglected one of the most important sayings in alchemy "Ora et Labora".... I believed in the Divine/God etc. but I never truly prayed when studying alchemy. Needless to say, the death of a family member in 2020 put a lot into perspective.

Last year I took up studying alchemy after the usual break from it... I tend to burn myself out plus the inability to be able to perform any experiments were a bummer. This time after a little study I decided to stop and pray. I had become a lot more spiritual or rather more active in spiritual practices since early 2020. Afterwards answers to questions I had started coming to me and well, my eyes were open! Normally I was extremely focused on believing that Mercury (Hg) was the primary ingredient for the philosopher's stone, but then I got turned onto something that I previously ignored. That something was Antimony. I started to learn about Basil Valentine (I still have a lot to learn and read when it comes to him) and his use of Antimony. One of the things that intrigued me was the Glass of Antimony which I couldn't help but connect with the Rebis. Not that I believe this Glass of Antimony is the Philosopher's Stone, but I believe it may be worth looking into and experimenting with... theorizing about etc. Then, through the youtube channel Esoterica, he talks about an early (I believe it might be one of the earliest) alchemical text written in Arabic (something to the effect of Al-Kittab Al-qimia" spelling my be off) which may o rmay not have been written by Geber (not sure of his true Arabic name though). The book is called in English, something like, "On the composition of alchemy" wherein he describes the Philosopher's Stone as resembling the slag from glass-making. If I remember right that is. Plus, I believe Fulcanelli or someone else described the Philosopher's Stone as being glass-like. Apologies if you mention any of this in the video. I'm at 6 minutes, and wanted to jot this down.

I just started thinking about the White Stone and the Red Stone and how the White Stone is said to secrete the Virgin's Milk which sounds contradictory. Breast milk implies that the person is pregnant and therefore has had sex and no longer a virgin. Coming from the pov of Christian Mysticism and Theology this is a clear reference to Mother Mary and Miracles in general (as in the Essence of Miracles or at least that's my opinion). The White Stone is Purity and has been touched by the Divine. So, given that the Red Stone is said to be the perfected version of the White Stone or rather that the Red Stone comes after the White Stone, would it be possible that this Red Stone is representative of de-virgination? The Red color signifying bleeding which can also be representative of menstruation or a maturation. Perhaps birthal bleeding as the Pregnant Virgin gives birth to the Child of Sol.
