What does it really mean to love? In our society, I think we have lost our understanding of what love really is. Our culture tends to think of love as acceptance. That is where were get immoral sexual ethics and bans on all forms of conversion therapy.

However, love is actually doing what is best for the other person. That is the kind of love God showed to us, and it is the kind of love we are commanded to show in I Corinthians 13.

No disrespect, but it sounds like in order to love someone per your definition, you would first need to judge them for their sins. Doesn't the Bible also say not to judge unless you be judged yourself?

You will NEVER convince anyone a God they can't see loves them if the church they *can* see doesn't.
People are gay and trans. Christians are gay and trans. And Jesus would wash their feet too.
And, IF there was a heart needing to be changed, that's God's job.. not yours.
