Picking up stitches around armhole (using Magic Loop method)

In this video I demonstrate how to pick up stitches around an armhole, using my Azalea top as the example. I show you how to pick up at a ratio of 2 stitches for every 3 rows on a 32" circular, and then how you would work the armhole trim using the Magic Loop method.

I’ve looked everywhere for a video like this one, that includes the picking up of the stitches and knitting in the round. Thank you so much!

Thank you for this tutorial! I am a new knitter, and tonight I tried knitting in the round with magic loop for the first time. Your video explained everything perfectly, and saved my first big project! Thank you! 😊

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for your video. Found it very helpful. Which circular knitting needles do you recommend - fixed or interchangeable? Any specific brand you prefer?
