'All Women Want is Money?!' American vs European women

Is it true that "all women want is money?" I asked women all around Europe, from Finland to Germany, who pays on the first date, would they be comfortable about the man paying, and what their perfect first date looks like and here is what they had to say.

When I was in Colombia, a girl thought I was arrogant in the 1st place because she thought a German guy would never be around poorer people and spend time with them. But then I proved her wrong by doing the opposite and she admired that.

Also this kinds of questions are so weird to us, like “how much do you want your husband to make in a year?” Obviously if I can choose what my husband makes in a year I will say the most stupid amount of money I can think of bc I love him and I want him to make a lot of money, but realistically he’s probably gonna receive the same as everybody else in this country even with a Masters degree etc bc that’s what most of us get. How can you even choose a person based on his income ? That’s completely crazy bc the person can be trash and you’re still gonna date him bc of money that will never be yours? Idk man the “American Dream” of marriage and having like a huge house and buy nice stuff every month and be like a mob wife who gets everything payed is just crazy to us, most of us don’t get married we just stay living together, renting an apartment and trying our best to live

I don't really get this portrayal of American women because neither I nor anyone I know think like that. This is why we need to be mindful of street interviews that are collected at specific places during specific times of day, and edited by people who may have an agenda already.

It is a cultural difference. American capitalism has made a society where money is everything. Europe still has a lot more culture.

Women want security/stability for themselves and their families/children.

This is true in the animal kingdom also especially in mammals. What does a male lion provide to the cubs? Security and stability, if he is defeated the cubs are killed by the incoming male.
