I was there that day!!
This was that strange period for EC, where his head was either totally in the Blues or totally in the Electro/Trance scene with his only breakout being 'Change The World' and he seemed to be playing the 'hits' just to get them out of the way.
Still, Clapton is one of my all time heroes, and 15 year old me absolutely LOVED this day, and also getting to see Jools Holland, Alanis Morissette, The Who and Bob Dylan was sensational!!
